1) Aaina
It is a major Pakistani blockbuster of 1977, directed by Nazr-ul-Islam, a film by Nadeem and Shabnum, which got 12 “Nigar” Awards and completed 8 consecutive years (400 weeks). It is the best musical and notable film ever. The major singers were Nayyara Noor, Mehnaz and Alamgir. The film holds the distinction for being the longest running Pakistani film on record.

1) Anand Math
Anand Math is a black and white movie made in 1952. It is set in the late 18th century Bengal, and depicts the Sanyasi Rebellion. I saw this movie as a child and have faint memories of it. The highlight of the movie, for me, is the Song 'Vande Mataram.' The national song of India, written by B C Chattopadhyay has been composed, sung, and picturized beautifully in the movie.
2) Do Ankhen Barah Haath
Another classic from the black and white era, Do Ankhen Barah Haath or Two Eyes Twelve Hands is the story of a Jail Warden's struggle to reform 6 prisoners in an open jail.
